The CDP- 2700 appears like a battleship with its battleship grey paint and 28.2 pound weight, with its optional rack mount shelf. The 18 bit linear D/A conversion has 8 times oversampling in combination with 45 bit noise shaping digital filters. The unit has RCA phono for Fixed Line Out and Variable Line Out. It has IEC-958 Digital Out, and for balanced connections it supports XLR connectors for Line Out and AES/EBU Digital Out. 8 pin Remote connector, Voltage Selector.

Unique Features Include: Fader Start, Auto-Cue Playback, Variable Speed Playback - (very few units have this), Digital Fader, Programmed Playback, Shuffle Playback, Custom Index, Last Mode Memory.
