This Rotel RC-960BX Stereo Control Amplifier or Preamp has been It is in excellent working operation, controls are all silent as they should be. We are including a copy of the original manual. The Rotel sound can be described as a very compact straightforward technical design. The unit maintains a good tonal balance. While the performance is commendable at the the price range. The sound stage has a great center image and the mids are nice and full. The Rotel seems to work well with soft dome tweeters speakers with full range. Condition is excellent overall.
Paired with one or two of the RB-960BX dual-mono amplifiers (we have two available), the combination of pre and amp could easily beat many of the contemporary receivers at the same price point in terms of tonal balance and punch.
