The Ramsa WP-9110 power amplifier is a 2-channel professional audio amplifier with a maximum output of 150WPC into a 4Ω load, and 100WPC into an 8Ω load and can be bridged to produce 300W into an 8Ω load. This amp was cleaned, the fan filter was replaced, it was serviced and adjusted by DALAUDIO per service manual. It is a nice sounding professional amplifier, made in Japan in the 1980s by Panasonic under the name RAMSA (Research for Advanced Music Sound and Acoustics). RAMSA was known for its focus on high-quality sound reproduction and reliability. These amplifiers were fairly well regarded and quite expensive. Eric Johnson (Guitarist) for example has a video or two utilizing Ramsa consoles and amplifiers through his career.

More about the Amplifier. This unassuming amp has an uncluttered front panel design that tell you exactly what is going on with the amp. There are three LEDs, the top is a Red Peak level distortion warning indicator, the next one down is a Green Signal level indicating the unit reached -20dB below the rated output level, and the bottom one is also Red Protect indicator lamp which only illuminates if the amplifier's muting protection circuit is activated. Below the LEDs on each side are the input level controls showing amount of attenuation applied to the input signal. With the control at '0' ( fully clockwise), the unit should reach its rated output when a +4dB input level is reached.

On rear panel there are four-pin Molex-type connectors for remote VU monitors (ask us if interested). It has a mode switch allowing Stereo, Mono or Bridge modes, for stereo amp summing, eg. 150W + 150W would give a total mono output of 300W. The right side pf rear panel is the AC mains lead and an automatic resetting AC mains circuit breaker (much better than hunting for the spare fuse that you know was "in here somewhere"). The amp rear panels are fitted with a generous helping of 'balanced' Male and Female XLRs and a stereo jack socket per side, although due to the internal wiring configuration only one can be used per side at any time. Outputs appear on a pair of quarter-inch mono jack sockets (4 ohms) as well as the more conventional 'banana' type screw connectors (8 ohms), the latter providing a reduced power output of 100W + 100W on the 9110 model and 200W + 200W on the 9220.
