The QSC MX 1500a is a very powerful high-quality amplifier boasting up to 750 Watts at 2 Ohms, 500W at 4 Ohms and 350 at 8 Ohms. If you run this amp in bridged Mono it put out 1000 Watts at 8 and 1500 Watts at Ohms. So plenty of power. It has a rather redundant protection scheme, featuring: full short circuit protection, open circuit protection, and ultrasonic and radio frequency protection. The amplifier maintains stability even with reactive and mismatched loads. These are pretty solid amps and have individual power supplies for each channel. This unit was recently cleaned, serviced and tested by DALAUDIO and is in good operating condition. Please see all photos. More about the amp features: The MX 1500a has indicators for an active signal, clipping and protection. Green Power LED, Yellow Signal LED: Red Clipping LED, and Red LED, Protection LED. Front panel AC Switch and Ch 1 and Ch 2 input gain controls. The stereo bridge switch is on the rear. This is a THX approved amplifier for cinema applications. Automatic two-speed fan matches cooling capacity to thermal requirements. Rear-to-front air flow prevents rack overheating.
