The Marantz 3200 is a vintage stereo control console (pre-amplifier) from the mid-1970s. It features two inputs for turntables, tuner, and tape decks, a three-band sliding EQ for precise tone control, and a pre-out that allows it to be used with a separate power amplifier. The 3200 is a popular component for vintage audio systems and is often paired with the Marantz 140 power amplifier. This is a classic, solid-state stereo control console/preamplifier well known for its warm, high-quality analog sound and robust build. It is a highly regarded piece of vintage high-fidelity equipment, often paired with the Marantz Model 140 power amplifier.
This gem was completely rebuilt by DALAUDIO in November of 2025. A complete list of components removed (see photos) and installed will come with the unit> Documentation includes the PCB, part location, device removed /device installed (and upgrades noted). Every board was addressed - Preamp Tone PCB, Relay/Amp Out PCB. Phono Stage PCB, Power Supply PCB. Nichicon Capacitors were used throughout, and all signal BCE transistors were changed. The diodes, and the main power - on relay and components were changed. The unit was then set to service manual spec and fully tested. You may find one that is less expensive, but it will be difficult to find one that has as much effort and attention to detail carefully applied. We will include a copy of the service manual and user manual if you bring an USB thumb drive.
