The Kenwood KA-9100 is a highly regarded, powerful vintage DC integrated stereo amplifier from the late 1970s, known for its robust, dual-mono design, and twin transformers. Service Work - Recently serviced by dalaudio. All pots, switches and selectors, filters were extensively cleaned. The tone boards were checked for bad caps and several were replaced. Power supply boards and meter driver modules adjusted per spec. This unit uses a pair of Trio TA 100WA Kenwood Power Blocks. We added new fuses, select capacitors and a few other components that were needed to bring the unit into specification. We then fully stress tested unit to full 90 WPC output into a dummy load while monitoring temperature around unit. We then listened to it in the shop for a few days, had a hard time listing this unit!
