Kenwood KA-7100 DC Integrated Amplifier 60 WPC (RMS) MIJ 1977-78 Serviced  Excellent Condition. Recent DALAUDIO Service included clean and coat potentiometers for volume, tone, balance, switches and selectors. All are quiet. Some components that tested marginal were replaced, and the unit is fully functional and the output (Bias/Offset) are well within spec per the service manual. This unit can handle 4 ohms loads for a single pair of speakers or 8-16 Ohms with two pairs of speakers. We can provide a copy of the manual, please ask us.

The direct coupled amplifier design yields a very good sounding made in Japan 1970s integrated amplifier. It's definitely suitable as a  higher end piece for you vintage hi-fi system. Almost any period speaker system will respond well to this integrated amplifier. The phono stage (MM Only) is full with excellent sensitivity and massive sound stage with a pair of JBL speakers and Dual turntable we tested with.

Inputs section on rear includes 2 x Tape, Aux, Tuner, and Phono. The front panel provides speakers selectors for A or B, A+B and Off for headphone listening. Unit has Bass, Treble, and Balance controls, High and Subsonic Filters, Tone defeat, and 2 loudness contours to choose from. Unit has a 0dB or 20dB attenuator switch. The Mode Selector permits Stereo, Reverse, and Mono. Tape Selectors allow for 2 channel bubbing and source listening. Very straightforward design makes for ease of use. This is a very nice unit that would be well over $1250 or more for similar quality made today.
