The Definitive Technology BP3000 (BP-3000TL) is a legendary flagship, hard to find, bipolar super-tower speaker. Renowned for its massive, immersive soundstage and chest-thumping integrated bass, it combines a bipolar driver array with a built-in 1000-watt powered subwoofer, making it a heavy hitter for both home theater and music. This is one of the biggest, most powerful speaker that Definitive created. They have a huge soundstage, but placement is critical for best results. Both speakers have 18" woofers and 1000 watt amplifiers. They have four 6.5" mid woofers and two 1" tweeters per cabinet as well. Just a flagship, reference level speaker. Easy to drive so receiver owners welcome. The speakers accept a wide range of power from 30-600 Watts and are fairly efficient at 92dB (1W/1M). Condition: Dalaudio recently serviced these speakers, checked the amplifiers and all 14 drivers (see photos). We lowered the "sock style" grill to inspect the individual drivers. Please see photos. The top piano black caps are in excellent condition, as are the grills. These were very gently used, and clearly respected pair of speakers. The speakers are in excellent overall condition and are very clean. Both subs and amplifiers are working as they should. The speakers were tested with a Real Time Analyzer (Audio Control) to verify frequency response of each driver with a precision mic. The speakers sound incredible and we will be happy to let you hear them.

Pros and Cons
Strengths: Excellent, room-filling sound for movies. The integrated subwoofer provides incredible low-end extension, removing the need for an external standalone subwoofer.

Weaknesses: Requires a large space to shine—they can sound hollow in smaller rooms, if not placed properly. These are massive and very heavy. They are also physically imposing at 55" Tall.
