The Beyerdynamic M 201 is an end-addressed, “pencil”- style dynamic hypercardioid pattern microphone with a published frequency response of 40Hz – 18kHz. The original M 201 N (N denoting the mic’s low 200ohm impedance) featured a din style connector. These M201s for sale, are the "C" model which first incorporated the XLR connector. The C stood for its inventor James H. Cannon. Beyerdynamic maintains that apart from a few subtle connectivity or a 2.0 filter model, that the microphone has been manufactured essentially identically for many years – older spec sheets list the M 201 N(C) as enjoying a listed sensitivity of 2.0 mV/Pa ± 1.5 dB (-54 dBV), but any apparent discrepancy would be within the stated tolerance, and indeed the various models are seemingly identical in all other meaningful respects. These are very well known competing sources, drums, tenor instruments and many other loud live applications.

Condition: These two M201's are in the Beyer Boxes, as shown and in remarkable vintage condition. The serial numbers are very close as they were originally purchased at the same time. These are fully tested by DALAUDIO, and are ready for use. Happy to show you they are working, just give me proper notice.
